Arthur the King Blu-ray & Digital Release Dates Set for Mark Wahlberg Movie

The Arthur the King Blu-ray and digital release dates for the adventure movie starring Mark Wahlberg have been set.

The Arthur the King Blu-ray release date has been set for May 28, 2024, when the film will also be available on DVD. The Blu-ray will retail for $39.99 for the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital release, while a standalone DVD copy will cost $29.96.

For those looking to watch the movie a bit earlier, the film’s digital release date has been set for April 23, 2024, when it will land on digital storefronts everywhere. Fans can buy the movie for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99 for a 48-hour period.

What is Arthur the King about?

The movie is based on the book Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home by Mikael Lindnord and chronicles the bond between a racer and a dog after the pair make an unlikely connection.

Alongside Wahlberg, the film also stars Simu Liu, Juliet Rylance, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ali Suliman, and Paul Guilfoyle, with Bear Grylls as himself.

The film “follows Mikael as he finds a wounded stray dog during a 400-mile race through the Ecuadoran jungle. After offering the dog some food before starting back again, the dog followed his team through some of the toughest terrains on the planet, with Lindnord deciding to adopt the dog and bringing him back to Sweden after,” reads the official synopsis.
