Max has officially announced the exclusive streaming release date for A24‘s critically-acclaimed biographical drama The Iron Claw.

Nearly four months since its theatrical debut, The Iron Claw will finally arrive on Max on Friday, May 10. It will then be followed by its broadcast debut on HBO on May 18 at 8 p.m. ET. During its theatrical run, the Zac Efron-led movie received a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a current Tomatometer score of 89% based on 269 reviews.
“The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s,” reads the synopsis. “Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.”
The Iron Claw was written and directed by Sean Durkin. The film stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Holt McCallany, Maura Tierny, Lily James, Stanley Simons, Aaron Dean Eisenberg and more. It was produced by Tessa Ross, Juliette Howell, Angus Lamont from House Productions, Durkin, and A24.
