Below 4K UHD Release Coming for David Twohy’s Submarine Horror Movie

Kino Lorber Studio Classics is releasing a Below 4K UHD set for David Twohy’s 2002 supernatural submarine horror movie.

Below 4K UHD Details

In the dark silence of the sea during World War II, the submarine USS Tiger Shark prowls on what should be a routine rescue mission. But for the shell-shocked crew, trapped together in the sub’s narrow corridors and constricted spaces, this is about to become a journey into the sensory delusions, mental deceptions, and runaway fears that lurk just below the surface of the ocean.

Below was directed by David Twohy (Pitch Black, Riddick), and he co-wrote the movie with Lucas Sussman and a certain Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, mother!). Cinemaography was by Ian Wilson (The Crying Game, Emma), and the score was composed by Graeme Revell (The Crow, From Dusk Till Dawn).

The movie starred Matthew Davis (Legally Blonde), Bruce Greenwood, Olivia Williams, Zach Galifinakis, Dexter Fletcher, and Holt McCanally (Mindhunter).

Details on the Below 4K UHD release date and contents are yet to be confirmed.
