Irish Wish Photos Unveil First Look at Netflix’s Lindsay Lohan Rom-Com

Netflix has released the official Irish Wish photos for its newest romantic comedy, starring Mean Girls alum Lindsay Lohan.

The photos provide a new look at Lohan’s character, Maddie, who gets a chance to marry her long-time crush. This marks the latest collaboration with the streamer, following 2022’s holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas. The film will start streaming on March 15.

“Maddie’s [one of the only] characters that I’ve played [who’s] a woman on her own making her way in the world… ” Lohan said in a recent interview with Tudum. “We shaped her in a way that she was a bit more insecure in the beginning, and then she grows throughout the movie, and by the end, she really comes into her own.”

What is Irish Wish about?

“When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland,” reads the logline. “Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”

Irish Wish is directed by Janeen Damian from a screenplay written by Kirsten Hansen. Joining Lohan are Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan, Jacinta Mulcahy, and Jane Seymour. It is executive produced by Lohan, Hansen, Damian, Amanda Phillips, James Townsend, Galen Fletcher, Steve Berman, Bryan Bordon, and Bader Shammas, with Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian producing.
