Jacob Elordi Being Investigated After Altercation With Radio Producer

Jacob Elordi is being investigated by New South Wales Police after an altercation between he and a radio producer over a prank.

According to a report from the Sydney Morning Herald, Elordi and a producer for the Australian breakfast radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show got into an altercation outside of the Clovelly Hotel in Australia.

Elordi was met outside of the hotel by Joshua Fox, a producer for the show, where Fox attempted to give Elordi an empty bottle in which to put his bathwater — a play on his infamous scene in Saltburn — to give to the radio show’s host as a gift.

Radio producer acknowledges the altercation

Elordi then asked Fox to stop filming, and requested he delete the footage. After doing so, Elordi then asked Fox to delete the footage fully from his “recently deleted” folder, and when Fox wouldn’t, the producer claimed Elordi became physical.

During a segment on the radio show, Fox essentially acknowledged the situation, and even produced audio of the altercation. In it, he can be heard giving Elordi the gift, to which Elordi doesn’t seem receptive.

Fox went on to say that, after not deleting the footage, he became worried that Elordi’s friends were going to “jump” him, and that Elordi then had “his hands around” his throat.

“Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs,” NSW Police said in a statement. “Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024 a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident are continuing.”
