Following the tragic news of Carl Weathers’ passing, countless celebrities have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late acting legend.
In a series of tweets on Friday, Adam Sandler — who appeared alongside Weather in the iconic comedy Happy Gilmore — reflected on his past with Weathers, calling the actor “a true great man.”
“Great dad. Great actor. Great athlete,” said Sandler in his tweets. “So much fun to be around always. Smart as hell. Loyal as hell. Funny as hell. Loved his sons more than anything. What a guy!! Everyone loved him. My wife and I had the best times with him every time we saw him. Love to his entire family and Carl will always be known as a true legend.”
On Instagram, Pedro Pascal also paid tribute, saying that he had no words for the passing of his The Mandalorian co-star.
