Sasquatch Sunset: Bleecker Street Acquires Riley Keough & Jesse Eisenberg-led Movie

Bleecker Street announced that it has acquired the rights to Sasquatch Sunset, an upcoming movie starring Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg.

The film will be directed by duo David and Nathan Zellner (Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter, Damsel). Alongside Keough and Eisenberg, the film also stars Nathan Zeller and Christophe Zajac-Denek. The movie is in post-production, having filmed under the radar in Northern California in 2022.

What do we know about Sasquatch Sunset?

Not too much is known about the film, with Bleecker Street describing the movie as “a year in the life of a singular family.” Further plot details are being kept under wraps as of now.

Prior to this, Eisenberg recently starred in When You Finish Saving the World and Manodrome. Up next for him, he’ll star in I’ll Be Right There, an independent comedy film from director Brendan Walsh. As for Keough, her breakout role came in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road, and has since starred in films like It Comes at Night, Logan Lucky, Under the Silver Lake, and The Lodge.

Most recently, Keough served as the co-director, co-writer, and producer of War Pony, and also starred in the 2023 musical drama Daisy Jones & the Six. She’ll also star in the upcoming Canadian true crime drama Under the Bridge.
