Rebel Moon Part 1 Runtime Confirmed for Zack Snyder Movie

According to Netflix’s Tudum, the official runtime for Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon has been revealed. Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire will be two hours and 13 minutes long.

What to Expect in Rebel Moon?

“When a peaceful settlement on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival,” the official synopsis reads.” Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Motherworld, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a new army of heroes is formed.”

Rebel Moon’s ensemble features Sofia Boutella as Kora, Charlie Hunnam as Kai, Michiel Huisman as Gunnar, Ed Skrein as Admiral Atticus Noble, Doona Bae as Nemesis, Ray Fisher as Darrian Bloodaxe, Cleopatra Coleman as Devra Bloodaxe, Jena Malone as Harmada, Staz Nair as Tarak, E. Duffy as Millius, Djimon Hounsou as General Titus, and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of Jimmy.

Snyder directs Rebel Moon from a script he co-wrote with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten. Snyder produces alongside his wife, Deborah, with Wesley Coller and Eric Newman. Rebel Moon will receive a director’s cut, similar to the Synder Cut version of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Snyder told Tudum that the director’s cut is “close to an hour of extra content.”

Rebel Moon will be split into two parts. Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire premieres on December 22, 2023, with Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver arriving on April 19, 2024. Both films will stream on Netflix.
