Family-friendly horror arrives this week in the form of Goosebumps and Fear Street author R.L. Stine’s Zombie Town which is an adaptation of the author’s 2012 book of the same name. Now, the movie has received a new official poster designed by Matthew Therrien.
Therrien posted the er, poster on Facebook and wrote, “As a lifelong Stine fan, I can’t even begin to express what a dream project it was to be a part of this!”
He should be happy because it’s a nice poster. As you can see below.
Zombie Town Poster
Zombie Town, directed by Peter Lepeniotis (The Nut Job), features two notable fixtures of the ’80s in Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase. Both are well suited to this horror comedy, but Akroyd obviously has plenty of weight in the genre as a Ghostbuster.
The story of the film sees Amy (Madi Monroe) and Mike (Marlon Kazadi) uncover a centuries-old secret when they decide to watch an exclusive film reel. Before they know it, their town has been turned to the undead before their eyes. The duo must track down an infamous filmmaker (Dan Akroyd) and navigate a town of hungry zombies to break the curse before it’s too late.
Zombie Town is releasing exclusively in theaters this week on September 1, 2023.
