Argylle Release Date Set for Apple’s Henry Cavill Spy Movie

Apple Original Films has officially announced the Argylle release date for Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy thriller, which will be led by The Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill. The star-studded movie is slated to arrive in theaters on February 2, 2024, and will be followed by its streaming release on Apple TV+ at a later date.

Its theatrical release date will see the film going up against Warner Bros.’ Wise Guys and Blumhouse’s Imaginary. It will also be debuting in the same month as Sony Pictures’ highly-anticipates Marvel movie Madame Web.

Who’s the Cast of Argylle?

Argylle stars Henry Cavill (The Witcher, Justice League), John Cena (The Suicide Squad), Samuel L. Jackson (MCU films), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Dominion), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Oscar-winning actor Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), and Grammy-winning singer Dua Lipa in her feature acting debut, who is also set to provide the original music for the title track and score of the high-profile project

Based on author Ellie Conway’s upcoming spy novel set to be published later this year, the film adaptation will center around the world’s greatest spy Argylle as he is caught up in a globe-trotting adventure. Vaughn’s Marv Studios is looking to develop the project into becoming the first of at least three films in the potential big franchise that will be set throughout multiple locations across the world including America and London.

Argylle is directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay adapted by Jason Fuchs. It will be executive produced by Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fishbach, with Fuchs, Adam Bohling, and David Reid to produce.
