Golden Globe nominee Selena Gomez took to Instagram to confirm that production on the highly-anticipated Only Murders in the Building Season 3 has finally been completed. Her announcement comes with a brand new behind-the-scenes photo featuring Gomez and Oscar winner Meryl Streep, whom the former Disney Channel star described as “the woman I adore, look up to, and love.”
Additionally, Deadline brings word that Michael Cyril Creighton has been promoted as a series regular for Season 3. Creighton has been portraying the role of Arconia’s cat-loving resident Howard Morris since the first season.
Only Murders in the Building centers around three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. The series stars Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Aaron Dominguez, and Amy Ryan. Season 3 will also feature Marvel Cinematic Universe star Paul Rudd as Broadway actor Ben Glenroy, Meryl Streep (Big Little Lies), and Ashley Park (Emily in Paris).
The series hails from co-writers and co-creators Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). Its executive producers are Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
The first two seasons of Only Murders in the Building are now available for streaming on Hulu.
