80 for Brady Paramount+ Release Date Set for April

Sports comedy 80 for Brady has ended its theatrical run and will soon be available on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.

Starting on April 4, the streaming service will add the Kyle Marvin-directed movie to its available content. It is led by an all-star cast of Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. Joining them is 7-time Super Bowl Champion and producer Tom Brady. Additional cast includes Sara Gilbert, Harry Hamlin, Billy Porter, Glynn Turman, Bob Balaban, Ron Funches, Jimmy O. Yang, and more. International Paramount+ subscribers will have to wait a little longer before watching the movie as 80 for Brady will become available for them on a yet-to-be-announced date.

80 for Brady comes from a screenplay Marvin co-wrote with Michael Covino. The movie grossed almost $40 million during its theatrical run over a $28 million production budget. 80 for Brady was distributed by Paramount Pictures, leading to its subsequent arrival on Paramount+. As our review states, it’s a well-crafted lighthearted comedy.

“The film is inspired by the true story of four best friends living life to the fullest when they take a wild trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their hero Tom Brady play,” reads the synopsis.

80 for Brady was developed by Fifth Season, Brady, and Donna Gigliotti, who serve as producers. Marvin, Covino, and Jeff Stott are executive producing.
