Fred Durst & Phoebe Bridgers Join A24’s I Saw the TV Glow Cast

The cast of the next film from Jane Schoenbrun (We’re All Going to the World’s Fair) has been set, with singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers one of the many stars to join the upcoming A24 project I Saw The TV Glow.

Alongside Bridgers, Justice Smith (The Get Down, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical), Helena Howard (Madeline’s Madeline), indie rock artist Lindsey Jordan (Snail Mail), Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, Danielle Deadwyler (Station Eleven), and Haley Dahl are also set to star in the film

Other cast members also include Amber Benson, Ian Foreman, Michael Maronna, Conner O’Malley, Emma Portner, Danny Tamberelli, and King Woman.

I Saw The TV Glow follows the story of two teenage outcasts (Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine) who bond over their shared interest and love of a scary television show. However, following the show’s mysterious cancellation, the boundary between what’s real and what’s television begins to blur.

The film is set to be produced by A24 and Fruit Tree, the production banner owned by actress Emma Stone. Schoenbrun wrote the script and directed the project, which The Hollywood Reporter notes finished production about a week ago, and is now in the process of post-production.
