Tom Brady, Jane Fonda to Star in Upcoming Road-Trip Comedy

Fresh off of retiring from his legendary career in the NFL, Tom Brady is set to move into Hollywood where he’ll appear in a football-themed road trip movie. The film is called 80 for Brady.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brady will join produce and appear in the film which tells the story of four New England Patriots fans who set forth on a life-changing trip to the Super Bowl LI (a game in which the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 after a miraculous comeback).

The film is reportedly inspired by a true story, and will chronicle the trip to the Super Bowl and the chaos that ensues on the trip itself. Alongside Brady, the film will star Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Fields, and will be directed by Kyle Marvin, who also co-wrote the script with Michael Covino.

After winning a record of seven Super Bowls, Brady recently retired from the NFL, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, has been “deeply involved” with the inception of the film for some time. Without football taking up his schedule, it seems like Brady is ready to spend his time exploring other ventures and areas.
