In a recent string of tweets made by the actor, Fisher took aim at Whedon’s “lies and buffoonery,” stating that he “was not the first to speak out about” the director, but that he hopes “to be one of the last that has to.”

The actor then said that Whedon “had nearly two years to get his story straight,” and that he had likely “spent tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars on PR, crisis management, and coaching. And his response to the allegations is: ‘They all misunderstood and/or are out to get me—also my mom is sexy’???” The comments come after Whedon called Gal Gadot’s claim that Whedon threatened her on the set of Justice League a misunderstanding.

Fisher also took shots at Walter Hamada, President of DC Films, saying that instead of “trying to throw Joss Whedon under the bus,” he simply had to wait and see “Joss had already bought a roundtrip ticket to run HIMSELF over.” Fisher has criticized Hamada in the past, calling him an “enabler” and saying that he will never participate in any production associated with him in the future.

Later in his tweets, Fisher joked that he would be starting a team called “The Malevont Force,” a nod to Whedon referring to Fisher as a malevolent force in the interview with the director. Finally, Fisher shared a tweet from Charisma Carpenter — an actress who worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also spoken out about Whedon in the past — where the pair called out Whedon once again, with Fisher saying that New York magazine “should be ashamed” for “regurgitating this nonsense.”
