Wonder Woman 3: Gal Gadot on Long-Awaited Team-Up with Lynda Carter

DC Extended Universe star Gal Gadot has opened up about getting to work with Lynda Carter on Wonder Woman 3. Speaking with THR, Gadot expressed her excitement by revealing how “it means the world” for her to have the opportunity to finally share the screen with Carter, who has always been a mentor to her throughout her Wonder Woman journey.

“First of all, Lynda has mentored me from the very first moment that I got cast as Wonder Woman,” Gadot said of her Wonder Woman 3 co-star. “She was always there, talking to me, giving me tips and everything. She’s a true champion of what Patty and I have been doing, and it was so great that we managed to find the right opportunity to bring her to the last movie and now to the third one.”

In Wonder Woman: 1984, fans were treated to a great surprise when Carter unexpectedly appeared during the sequel’s post-credits scene where she portrayed the role of a legendary Amazon warrior Asteria, who has been revealed to be alive.

Gadot went to teased Carter’s bigger role in the upcoming third installment, promising that their long-awaited team-up will be “even better this time. I love her very much. I love her dearly.”

The untitled Wonder Woman 3 will once again be written and directed by Patty Jenkins, who previously revealed that this might be the last installment that she would be directing. As of now, Gadot and Carter are the only confirmed cast members for the upcoming film.
