Davis and Wood are joining a cast that already features a ton of stars, including Peter Dinklage, Jacob Tremblay, Taylor Paige, and Kevin Bacon. It’s unknown what roles the two actors will be playing, but more information will likely make its way out as production officially gets underway.

The Toxic Avenger remake is described as a contemporary reimagining of Troma Entertainment’s 1984 cult classic dark comedy that subverts the superhero genre akin to Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. The reboot will center around a struggling everyman transformed into a mutant freak after being pushed into a vat of toxic waste. It must become an underdog hero to save his son, his friends, and the community from the forces of corruption and greed.
