According to Deadline, Emmy nominee Lee Pace (The Hobbit, Guardians of the Galaxy) has been tapped to join A24’s upcoming slasher horror film titled Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, as production on the project is scheduled to begin next week. In addition, Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation), and Conner O’Malley (Palm Springs) have also been cast for undisclosed roles.

They will be joining previously announced cast members Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), and Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island), and Myha’la Herrold (Industry), with Stenberg and Bakalova set as leads. Further details about the project’s plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, but it is being described as a secret slasher film.

Bodies, Bodies, Bodies will be directed by Halina Reijn (Instinct), who has quietly been developing the package over the past several months and waiting for schedules to come together with a cast list that has become incredibly busy in recent months. The horror-thriller will be financed and produced by A24, with 2AM’s David Hinojosa attached to serve as a producer.

He is also best known for his critically-acclaimed role as Ned in the Pushing Daisies series where he earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor. Pace will next be seen in Apple TV+’s long-in-development series adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s classic sci-fi novel Foundation.
