Following the recent addition of Carey Mulligan, Deadline brings word that Golden Globe-nominated actor Paul Dano and The Big Bang Theory alum Kunal Nayyar have been tapped to join Adam Sandler in Netflix’s upcoming film adaptation of Spaceman. This project marks the reunion between Mulligan and Dano, who previously worked together in the Little Miss Sunshine actor’s 2018 directorial debut film Wildlife. There is no word yet on what roles they will play in the project.

Dano’s notable film credits include L.I.E, There Will Be Blood, 12 Years a Slave, Prisoners and Love & Mercy, with the latter earning him his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He will next be seen in Matt Reeves’ highly-anticipated The Batman, which is slated to premiere in 2022.

Nayyar gained recognition for his role as Rajesh Koothrappali in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which had wrapped up its 12-season run in 2019. He also starred in last year’s Trolls World Tour and Think Like a Dog.
