Hotel Transylvania: Transformania Release Date Revealed by Sony!

Sony Pictures has officially set the title and a July 23 release date for its upcoming animated sequel Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, the fourth and final film in the popular franchise that has grossed a combined $1.3 billion worldwide. Plot details for Hotel Transylvania: Transformania are still under wraps.

Transformania was originally scheduled for release in December, but was moved up to August 6 last year before this latest change. Its only competition on July 23 will be Universal’s latest M. Night Shyamalan thriller Old starring Gael García Bernal.

Selena Gomez, who has voiced Mavis in each film, also returns for the final installment and will serve as executive producer for this go-round.

Drac’s Pack is back, like you’ve never seen them before. Hotel Transylvania: Transformania will be the final chapter of the successful franchise from Sony Pictures Animation. Franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky returns as screenwriter and executive producer, alongside Michelle Murdocca and Selena Gomez. Directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon, and produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone, the film will hit theatres July 23.

The most recent entry in the series, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, debuted on July 13, 2018 to the tune of $167.5 million domestically, nearly matching the second film in the series. Worldwide the film brought in $528.5 million, the highest of the franchise so far.
