Hocus Pocus 2 Confirmed for an Exclusive Disney+ Release!
Though the long-awaited sequel has been in the works for some months now, the Disney+ section of the Disney Investor Day presentation confirmed that Hocus Pocus 2 will debut exclusively on the streaming platform!
The sequel to the 1993 Halloween cult classic Hocus Pocus will be directed by Emmy winner Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Rock of Ages, A Walk to Remember).
The original film was led by multi-award-winning actress Bette Midler (The Rose) and four-time Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) along with Kathy Najimy (Sister Act). The film followed the story of a teenage boy, who accidentally brings a trio of villainous Salem witches back to life on Halloween night.
