Hey there, fellow couch potatoes! Well, we did it. We made it to October, which means Halloween, Halloween and more Halloween. You guys aren’t messing around either as, according to The Digital Entertainment Group, three of the Top 20 Streaming Films for the week of October 1 revolve around the spooky holiday. Let’s get to it!

First off, the Jessica Chastain thriller Ava remained at No. 1 for the second week in a row, The Secret: Dare to Dream leapt from No. 3 to No. 2 while Yellowstone Seasons 1-3 each dropped a spot. The reason? Winifred Sanderson and her pesky sisters flew from No. 12 on last week’s list all the way to No. 4. Any bets on how high these witches fly before Oct. 31?
Other Halloween favorites making the list include the Tim Burton double feature Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas (and yes, we know Burton didn’t direct the latter, but it’s very clearly his film). Any chance we’ll see Sleepy Hollow make the list some time in the next few weeks?
It’d be cool to see Poltergeist or even John Carpenter’s Halloween appear. Come on people, let’s make it happen!
