Alamo Drafthouse and Laemmle Theaters are among the theaters to join the online screening initiative to screen films through many of their locations, with a virtual Q&A with the Bacurau filmmakers and casted hosted by BAM available for all to watch on Wednesday, April 1 at 8 p.m. EST. The full list of theaters on board for Bacurau at the time of publication are listed here.

“We’re grateful for our partners at Kino Lorber, who are leading the charge in Virtual Cinema screenings that support theaters like Alamo Drafthouse,” Tim League, Alamo Drafthouse founder and CEO. “We’re happy to be able to share Bacurau with our audience and continue celebrating our shared film culture.”

Kino Marquee will be hosted on the company’s new VOD service, Kino Now, although access to the virtual screening rooms will not be available through said site, but rather through theaters’ promotions of the films via the site, where viewers can buy virtual tickets and receive a link offering an admission to the online screening rooms.
