Warner Bros. has revealed a new promo image for the upcoming 300: Rise of An Empire featuring stars Sullivan Stapleton and Eva Green. In addition, the official website for the film has launched a campaign where users can have the latest trailer for the film released by tweeting out the hashtag #300Jointhebattle or connecting via Facebook. Based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel “Xerxes” and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster 300, this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefieldon the seaas Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. 300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
300: Rise of an Empire opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on March 7, 2014.
