Open Road Films, along with SB Films and Dolphin Films, will release Believe nationwide on Christmas Day 2013.
On each Monday prior to Believe‘s release, Justin will celebrate Music Mondays by dropping a brand new song exclusively through iTunes. Last week, he unveiled the smash “HeartBreaker,” and he’s followed suit this week with “All That Matters.”
Directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Step Up 2 & 3, Justin Bieber Never Say Never), Believe features new interviews with Bieber and appearances from manager Scooter Braun, Usher Raymond, Rodney Jerkins, Ludacris, Mike Posner and many more. Believe is produced by Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun, Usher Raymond and Bill O’Dowd. Garrett Grant is also a producer.
“I am so excited to be involved in this movie, and so happy to be able to give back to my fans, especially during the holiday season,” Justin exclaims. “Jon Chu and my team have done a wonderful job creating a special moment for Beliebers worldwide and I can’t wait till Christmas day when the movie will be in theaters everywhere.”
“It’s no secret that Justin Bieber’s name drives a lot of attention,” affirms Scooter Braun. “But with ‘Believe,’ we wanted him to tell his own story, truthfully and directly. The number one goal of our company is to provide global audiences with content that’s not only high-quality and forward-thinking, but also authentic.”
“Justin Bieber is one of the biggest stars on the planet and one of the greatest entertainers of our time,” states Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Open Road Films. “‘Believe’ will be a huge Christmas present for Bieber fans and Open Road Films couldn’t be happier about delivering this special engagement to theaters.”
“It was an amazing experience to see the creative process behind both the writing of Justin’s songs and the mounting of the ‘Believe’ tour,” states Bill O’Dowd, Dolphin Films CEO. “The ‘Believe’ concert is simply spectacular, and it is made even more so when you witness the tremendous amount of effort and heart that Justin, Scooter and their team bring to their work and, most importantly, to his fans.”
