“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner is the latest name to join the cast of Kyle Newman’s Barely Lethal. Deadline reports that the actress is set to join Hailee Steinfeld, Jessica Alba and Samuel L. Jackson in the action comedy.
Barely Lethal follows a 16-year-old international assassin (Steinfeld) yearning for “normal” adolescence who fakes her own death and enrolls in a suburban high school. When her former-employer (Jackson) comes calling, it becomes more extracurriculars than any teenager can handle.
Although “Game of Thrones” marked Turner’s debut as an actress, she’s soon set to hit the big screen opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers in writer-director Isabel Coixet’s Another Me.
Barely Lethal will be produced by Brett Ratner, RKO and Hopscotch Pictures.
