Mad Max: Fury Road Going Back for Reshoots

One of the most noticeably absent films from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con slate was the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road. The film completed production last December and yet not a peep has been heard about it since then.

If.com.au is now reporting that the film is going back for some reshoots that are set to begin in November in Sydney, Australia. The reshoots will run about three weeks long with some of the cast returning to reprise their roles. Casting agents are currently looking for extras with “odd, idiosyncratic faces” to participate.

Warner Bros. Pictures has yet to set a release date for the action adventure which is directed by series creator George Miller. The film boasts a large ensemble cast that includes Tom Hardy as the titular Max along with Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Courtney Eaton, Josh Helman, Jennifer Hagan, iOTA, John Howard, Richard Carter, Megan Gale, Angus Sampson, Joy Smithers, Gillian Jones, Melissa Jaffer and Melita Jurisic.
