Bruce Willis Ready for Expiration

Bruce Willis makes a lot of movies. Let’s get that out of the way right now. And some of them do better than others, as he bounces between drama, comedy and action movies. The production company Emmett/Furla Films has made quite a mark with their action dramas over the years with the upcoming 2 Guns, starring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, being one many are looking forward to.

Willis has made three previous films with Emmett/Furla–the action-thriller 16 Blocks, the Stephen Frears-directed Vegas comedy Lay the Favorite and the straight to video Fire with Fire–but now he’s going to go for a fourth by starring in their new action-thriller Expiration.

This may sound more Willis’ speed going by his past movies, as he’ll play a hitman who is looking for an antidote before he dies after he’s been poisoned. That high concept screenplay is written by Brian Tucker, who also wrote Broken City for Emmett/Furla.

Emmett/Furla will produce and finance the picture with a budget of $60 million.
