A visit to the X-Mansion for the X-Men: Apocalypse Blu-ray junket

Ahead of the film’s official Blu-ray release on October 4, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment invited us to beautiful Oshawa, Canada to the historic Parkwood Estate for an elaborate X-Men: Apocalypse Blu-ray junket. We got to interview some of the stars of the film (check back next week for those videos!) and also toured the grounds where director Bryan Singer shot the very first X-Men movie in 2000. The rooms were set up with all kinds of props and decorations tied into Apocalypse and its 1980’s setting. Check out our photographic tour of the X-Mansion in the gallery below and click here to pre-order your copy of X-Men: Apocalypse on Blu-ray!

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, and Ben Hardy.
