ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to KNB EFX Group co-founder Greg Nicotero about reuniting with The Hills Have Eyes and Mirrors director Alexandre Aja for Piranha 3D at the Arizona set. The horror-thriller, opening March 19, 2010, stars Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, Jessica Szohr, Jerry O’Connell, Cody Longo and Ricardo Chavira.
In Piranha 3D, a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish at Lake Victoria. An unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents. But our heroine (Shue) is seriously outnumbered, and with only one chance to save the lake and her family from totally being devoured, she must risk everything to destroy the aquatic carnivores herself.
