K-Pop Comebacks March 2024: BTS J-Hope, Wendy and More Artists Confirmed

The K-pop comebacks for March 2024 feature a star-studded lineup of artists, including BTS J-Hope, NCT Dream, Red Velvet’s Wendy, and more.

After an exciting February that saw Cha Eun-Woo’s solo debut with Entity, IU’s much-awaited comeback with the new album, The Winning, and Le Sserafim’s Easy, fans are now gearing up for March, which will be equally eventful for the K-pop community.

Let’s look at some of the most anticipated K-pop comebacks in March 2024.

Red Velvet Wendy

Red Velvet’s star singer, Wendy, will make her solo comeback with a new album, Wish You Hell, scheduled to release on March 12 at 6 p.m. KST/ 4 a.m. ET/ 1 a.m. PT. The album will contain six tracks, including the title track, “Wish You Hell.”

Wendy made her solo debut with the extended play Like Water on April 5, 2021. The EP was filled with ballad-type songs which showcased her stunning vocals perfectly. However, Wish You Hell is teasing to be edgier than her first EP.

ICHILLIN’

The rising K-pop group ICHILLIN’ will make its group comeback with their third mini album, Feelin’ Hot. All members of the K-pop septet – Jiyoon, E.Ji, Jackie, Joonie, Chaerin, Yeju, and Chowon will participate in the comeback. The mini album is releasing on March 7.

Before the comeback, the group dropped two pre-released tracks, “DEMIGOD” and “Bite Me.” The edgy beat and overall energetic rhythm of “Bite Me” hint that the new album Feelin’ Hot will justify the title by showing the girl group in a new light.

XIKERS

K-pop rookie Xikers will return with new music on March 8 at 2 p.m. KST/ 12 a.m. ET. The ten-member K-pop group, comprising of Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, Hunter, and Yechan, will be releasing their third mini album, HOUSE OF TRICKY: Trial And Error.

Xikers debuted from the house of Ateez, KQ Entertainment. The K-pop group quickly made an impression with their debut EP, House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing. The extended play shows off a fusion of punk and K-pop that fans were not ready for. After an electrifying beginning, Xikers will show a new side of the group with the third EP.

BTS J-Hope

BTS rapper J-Hope will be dropping a special album for fans in March. The K-pop icon’s new album, Hope on the Street, will be released on March 29 at 1 p.m. KST/ March 28 at 11 pm ET.

The upcoming J-Hope album will contain six tracks. Along with the album, J-Hope will show a never-seen side of his rapper persona through a new documentary, Hope on the Street. The docuseries will have six parts. The first episode will drop on Prime Video on March 28. New episodes will be airing every Thursday and Friday.

Zerobaseone

Mnet’s K-pop survival show Boys Planet’s winners, who formed the group Zerobaseone, will join the March K-pop comeback lineup with their Japanese album release. The K-pop’s rising icons are releasing the MV of the Japanese track “ゆらゆら -運命の花-” (Yura Yura unmei no Hana) on March 8.

Zerobaseone has been making waves in the music charts since its debut. The group, consisting of Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yu-Jin, made history with their debut album, Youth in the Shade.

The pre-orders for Youth in the Shade exceeded over 1.08 million copies in 13 days after its announcement, making it the most pre-ordered K-pop debut album. It also became the first K-pop debut album to sell over a million copies.

March will also mark the return of triple million seller K-pop act NCT Dream. While their comeback date is yet to be revealed, SM Entertainment previously disclosed that the boys are at the last stage of album preparation.

Along with comebacks, HYBE’s new K-pop group I’LL-IT will be making their official debut on March 25 with their debut extended play.
