K-Pop Group TXT New Album Release Date Window Revealed

K-pop group TXT (Tomorrow X Together) is preparing for their 2024 comeback with a new album release. Dubbed one of the most popular 4th generation K-pop groups, TXT has released multiple Billboard-charting albums.

TXT released their last studio album, The Name Chapter: Freefall, on October 13, 2023. The album’s massive popularity in the United States and Korea resulted in it charting at number one in Korea’s Circle Album Chart and the US World Chart. With over 106,000 unit sales in the U.S., it also peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

TXT’s discography and multiple chart-topping albums have solidified their position as the most popular K-pop group of the fourth generation.

TXT’s comeback for 2024 and release window of new album revealed

According to a Korean media outlet, TXT is preparing to make its 2024 comeback with a new album in April. The K-pop trendsetters have aced multiple youthful concepts in the past.

After the retro vibe of The Name Chapter: Freefall, TXT is likely to return with a fresh summer theme for its upcoming album.

TXT hinted at their album preparations at the Golden Disc Awards in January when they teased fans: “We will come back with a great performance in 2024. We have already prepared our next album,” adding, “recording has begun.”

To add more to the frenzy, fans also believe that TXT’s label, BigHit Music, hinted at the theme of their next album at the end of their Golden Disc Awards performance. An unknown melodic tune was played when TXT finished the performance.

Before the comeback, fans will get a chance to witness some of TXT’s hit performances at their fan meeting on March 2 at 5 p.m. KST and March 3 at 4 p.m. KST at Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium.

In the upcoming fan meeting titled TXT FANLIVE PRESENT X TOGETHER, the group will be celebrating their 5th anniversary with MOAs (as the fandom of TXT is called).
