Hanteo Music Awards is returning in 2024 with a star-studded K-pop performers’ lineup. The 31st edition of the prestigious award ceremony will take place this February. Before the much-awaited award show’s return, here’s everything you need to know about HMA 2024.
After three epic K-pop awards shows in January including the Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Circle Chart Music Awards, Korean music fans have a lot to look forward to in February as well starting with the Hanteo Music Awards.
Hanteo Music Awards 2024 lineup
Hanteo Music Awards 2024 released the performers’ lineup for its 31st edition, taking place on February 17th and 18th. From Aespa to the rising K-pop boy group Zerobaseone, fans are counting the days to witness yet another fiery performance from their favorite K-pop acts.
Alongside Aespa and Zerobaseone, the ceremony confirmed Jung Dong Won, Kim Jae Hwan, KISS OF LIFE, tripleS, VIVIZ, PLAVE, Parc Jae Jung, LUCY, Lee Chan Won, and Daybreak will be attending this year’s show to perform their latest music.
As the award show dates get closer, fans are speculating to see more names appear in the confirmed lineup. It includes NCT Dream, SF9, and EPEX who have previously attended the show.
Presenters and hosts for HMA 2024
The two-day-long HMA ceremony will be graced by various popular Korean celebrities who are hosting and presenting the awards.
Actor and singer Jo Kwon aka the leader of the K-pop group 2 a.m. will be presenting at the ceremony. Fly to the Sky’s Brian, Apink’s Yoon Bomi, Byul, and Gabee are also confirmed as presenters of the show.
KARA’s Han Seung Yeon, g.o.d ’s Danny Ahn, Jung In, Kim Jong Seo, Lee Won Seok, and Cho Hang Jo will also be wearing presenters’ hats this year.
The cherry on top is none other than TVXQ’s superstar ‘Idol’s of Idol,’ Changmin who will be the host this year.
