GCF Jungkook Meaning Explained as BTS Member Unveils New Video at Golden Live on Stage Concert

BTS’ youngest member, Jungkook, mesmerized fans with his first-ever solo concert, Golden Live On Stage, on November 20, 2023, at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The live show was nothing short of glorious. Apart from performing the mega-hit tracks from his debut album GOLDEN, the K-pop idol also gave his fans, ARMYs, a few surprises. One of the biggest surprises of the concert was the release of Jungkook’s new GCF (Golden Closet Film) in Budapest.

GCF denotes a set of candid travel videos recorded and produced by the singer himself. The BTS member released the last GCF back in 2019. Thus, it was indeed a golden treat for fans.

Jungkook treats fans with a new GCF video on Golden Live on Stage

After taking the center stage by storm with his electrifying performances at the Golden Live On Stage, the BTS member dropped his new GCF in the middle of the concert. The video gave glimpses of his packing for his Budapest journey, travelling to the airport, greeting fans, and boarding his flight. Aside from that, Jungkook’s new GCF in Budapest also showcased the artist’s eating, resting, showering, skincare routine, and shirtless workout sessions, which sent fans on a frenzy.

The GCF also displayed the artist on the set of the music video of “Standing Next to You”. It further showed him grabbing dinner with his dancers from the music video. Throughout the entire GCF, the global K-pop star effortlessly dazzled fans with his undeniable charms and cuteness.

Highlights from Jungkook’s Golden Live on Stage performance

Jungkook kicked off the highly anticipated Golden Live On Stage concert with his performance of the title track “Standing Next to You” from GOLDEN. Following this, the artist performed his other hits from the album, including “Somebody,” “Yes or No,” “3D,” and “Closer to You.” After dropping the GCF in the middle of the show, the singer continued his performance with the tracks “Shot Glass of Tears,” “Hate You,” “Please Don’t Change,” “Too Sad to Dance,” and “Seven.”

The BTS singer surprised fans once again when he performed an encore version of BTS’ “Magic Shop.” Another big highlight of the show was the presence of BTS’ leader RM at the concert. Jungkook went on to acknowledge RM’s presence by giving him a shoutout for being an important part of his journey. He also gave a shoutout to his mother during the show for her great influence in his life.

In other news, Jungkook’s “Seven” ft. Latto won the award for the Top Global K-pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
