Currently, Netflix is streaming a K-drama named The Atypical Family that revolves around superpowers. The storyline revolves around a family consisting of members with different superpowers. However, due to modern-day health issues, they are losing their powers. Their lives take a sharp turn after a mysterious woman appears in their lives. This Jang Ki-Yong and Chun Woo-Hee starrer is garnering a lot of attention from the audience.

The Uncanny Counter is a K-drama about superpowers. The series revolves around a group of people who work together as demon hunters. While one of them has the power to detect the evil spirit, another can heal people. When one of their partners dies, a physically impaired college student gets chosen for the job. Soon, he finds himself with unique powers. However, their powers also have a limit. The drama shows how, at one point, So Mun (Jo Byeong-Kyu) finds himself without powers. This is a thrilling drama to binge-watch.

The Legend of the Blue Sea

The storyline of The Legend of the Blue Sea revolves around a Joseon-era mermaid, Shim Chung. She travels to modern-day Seoul to find her one true love, Kim Ryung. Mermaids having powers is understandable, but after meeting Kim Ryung’s doppelganger, Heo Joon Jae, the con artist starts to hear her thoughts. Soon, Joon-Jae (Lee Min-Ho) falls in love with Shim Chung (Jun Ji-Hyun). Slowly, memories of their past flood in, and while dealing with all the other dangers, they find their happily ever after.

My Lovely Liar

Like the Bok family from The Atypical Family, in My Lovely Liar, Mok Sol-Hee (Kim So-Hyun) has a superpower. She can hear the lies and uncover the truth, which is why she is unable to trust people. However, in the drama, Sol-Hee gets involved in a murder case, and by the end of the series, she even loses her power to hear any more lies.

In The Atypical Family, while Bok Gwi-Ju (Jang Ki-Yong) can travel back in time to his happy moments, Bok Dong-Hee (Kim Su Hyun) can fly like a feather.
