Episode 5 of The Brave Yong Soo Jung aired on MBC on Friday, May 10, 2024. In the new episode, Yeo Eui-Joo (Seo Jun-Young) comes to stay at Yong Soo-Jung (Uhm Hyun-Kyung) and her adoptive father’s guest house. He still has no idea who they are. Yeo Eui-Joo also has a rib fracture after his chaotic encounter with Yong Soo-Jung for the second time.
The Brave Yong Soo Jung episode 5 also sees Choi Hye-Ra (Im Ju-Eun) desperately wanting to be in a romantic relationship with Joo Woo-Jin (Kwon Hwa-Woon). However, it seems like Joo Woo-Jin does not have romantic feelings for her. The biggest highlight of the episode is Yong Soo-Jung getting into a seriously difficult situation at work. She somehow gets a severe allergic reaction to a product she has been advertising on television.
The Brave Yong Soo Jung Episode 5: Uhm Hyun-Kyung faces serious difficulty at work
Episode 5 of The Brave Yong Soo Jung begins right where episode 4 ends. Yong Soo-Jung (Uhm Hyun-Kyung) accidentally injures Yeo Eui-Joo (Seo Jun-Young) with her new helmet. She then tells Yeo Eui-Joo that she will compensate for his injury and runs away from there. It looks like Eui-Joo is in pain. However, he has to secure a job for himself. Thus, despite the pain, he manages to get through an appointment with an employer and gets the job at a gym.
Later on, the fifth episode sees Eui-Joo showing up at Soo-Jung’s adoptive father’s guest house. The monk at the monastery has sent him there to stay. However, he has no idea about the owner of the guest house or his daughter’s identity. He still does not know that they are the ones who helped his mother give birth to him.
Towards the end of The Brave Yong Soo episode 5, viewers see Soo-Jung getting into a tricky situation at work. She has to advertise some pearl jewelry on television. But it turns out that she is severely allergic to the pearl necklace she is wearing for the advertisement. She tries to do her job diligently; however, she fails when her allergic reaction gets worse. The whole situation is witnessed by Choi Hye-Ra (Lim Ju-Eun) and Joo Woo-Jin (Kwon Hwa-Woon).
At the end of the episode, Soo-Jung suddenly collapses, and the table in front of her that has the pieces of jewelry also falls along with her. At that moment, Yeo Eui-Joo arrives there, and when he sees what has happened to Soo-Jung, he rushes to help her. The episode ends right there.
