Missing Crown Prince episodes 9 and 10 are set to air in May 2024 on MBN and Viki. Starring EXO’s member Suho, Hong Ye-Ji, and Kim Min-Kyu, the K-drama focuses on the complicated relationship between a crown prince and a potential crown princess.
In the previous episode, Crown Prince Lee Gon (Suho) and Myung-Yoon (Hong Ye-Ji) managed to escape the royal guards. To seek protection and shelter, Lee Gon arrived at his grandfather’s house. When the elderly man addressed him as “Highness” and “Crown Prince,” this was when Myung-Yoon learned the real identity of Lee Gon. Meanwhile, he was also not aware of Myung-Yoon’s identity — she’s the daughter of his enemy, royal physician Choi Sang-Rok.

The network released the upcoming episode’s trailer, which focuses on changing the dynamic in the lead characters’ relationship. After learning Lee Gon’s real identity, Myung-Yoon decides to reveal hers to the crown prince. He warns her never to mention her father’s name in front of him. At the palace, the king’s condition deteriorates.
This puts pressure on Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu). The latter agrees to become the crown prince, per Queen Dowager Min Soo-Ryun and Sang-Rok’s wishes. For context, Sang-Rok strategizes to label Lee Gon as a traitor and makes Do Sung the crown prince. This way, he can make his daughter, Myung-Yoon, the crown princess after she marries Do Sung.
The Missing Crown Prince episode 9 trailer further shows Lee Gon learning that Myung-Yoon has left. It ends with the royal guards arresting the deposed crown prince, Lee Gon.
Missing Crown Prince airs twice a week on Saturday and Sunday on MBN and Viki.
