Begins ≠ Youth Part 2 Ending Explained & Spoilers: What Happens to Min Ce-In?

The BTS Universe-inspired Korean drama series Begins ≠ Youth released part 2 on May 7, 2024, on Xclusive. It consists of episodes 5 to 8. The drama stars Seo Young-Joo, Seo Ji-Hoon, Jung Woo-Jin, Noh Jong-Hyun, Jeon Jin-Seo, Kim Yoon-Woo, and Ahn Ji-Ho.

The second part of Begins ≠ Youth shows the seven boys struggling with several serious life issues. The final episode of part 2, which is episode 8, sees everyone, including the police, trying to scapegoat Min Ce-In (Noh Jong-Hyun) whenever anything bad happens in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Min Ce-In tries to find the truth about her mother. Min Ce-In also gets into great trouble after Jeon Je-Ha’s (Jeon Jin-Seo) step-brother deceives him in episode 8.

Begins ≠ Youth Part 2 Ending: Min Ce-In is deceived by Jeon Je-Ha’s step-brother

Episode 8 of Begins ≠ Youth, which is the final episode of part 2, sees Min Ce-In (Noh Jong-Hyun) trying his best to bring out the truth about his mother. He does not believe the principal’s words, and thus, he wants to prove him wrong. Meanwhile, Kim Hwan (Seo Ji-Hoon) is also looking for the truth behind the relationship between his father and Min Ce-In’s mother.

The episode also shows that Park Ha-Ru (Kim Yoon-Woo) has made a new friend, and he talks to him on the phone and always messages him. He even goes out to meet that friend. However, later on, it turns out that he has not made any friends. It is all his imagination. Kim Joo-An (Jung Woo-Jin) discovers it after seeing him talking to himself. He becomes concerned about Park Ha-Ru’s health and ends up harshly confronting him about it.

In episode 8 of Begins ≠ Youth, the audience also sees Min Ce-In finding a letter written by his deceased mother. It says that he should be very careful of the principal as he is a bad person. In the meantime, Kim Hwan finds several pieces of evidence that indicate that his father and Min Ce-In were deeply in love. He shows this evidence to Min Ce-In, who then gives Kim Hwan the letter from his mother he had found earlier. However, Kim Hwan tells him that he believes the principal is a good man.

Toward the end of the episode, viewers see Jeon Je-Ha’s (Jeon Jin-Seo) step-brother planning to deceive Min Ce-In and get him expelled from the school. He uses Je-Ha to lure him into an abandoned place. Je-Ha relaizes something is wrong and also arrives at the spot. There, Je-Ha’s step-brother tries to provoke Min Ce-In to hit him. His plan is to record everything and show it to the school authority so that they expel Min Ce-In.

Despite his harsh words, Min Ce-In initially decides to ignore Je-Ha’s step-brother. But then he loses control when he starts to rough up Je-Ha and says diminishing things about his deceased mother. Min Ce-In then loses his calm and starts hitting him. He then takes up a big piece of rock to hit him in the head; however, Je-Ha stops him.

Then Begins ≠ Youth episode 8 does not show what really happens. But, viewers see Je-Ha lying on the floor of that place with a heavy injury. His step-brother is crying in fear, and the rock that Min Ce-In has in his hand has blood on it. It looks like Min Ce-In may have fatally injured Je-Ha. Min Ce-In breaks down right there.

Episode 8 ends with Kim Hwan asking the principal what he wants. Then, the principal mentions a secret, which indicates that Kim Hwan has been keeping a secret from all his friends.
