Nothing Uncovered ending: Do Kim Ha-Neul and Yeon Woo-Jin reunite?

The final episode of Nothing Uncovered begins with Seol Woo-Jae getting arrested by Detective Kim Tae-Heon. At the police station, he hands over a piece of crucial evidence against his father, Seol Pan-Ho, to Kim Tae-Heon. Moreover, Woo-Jae finally mustered up the courage to do the right thing.

Meanwhile, Seo Jung-Won meets Tae-Heon and gives him another piece of evidence showing Woo-Jae hitting Lee Na-Ri with his car. Woo-Jae eventually ends up in prison. On the other hand, a case against Seol Pan-Ho and assemblyman Mo Hyung-Taek begins for their involvement in various criminal activities.

Later, in Nothing Uncovered episode 16 (finale), viewers see Jung-Won visiting Woo-Jae at the prison. There, he asks her to cover the entire case involving him and his father on television. He believes that it will pressure his father into surrendering. Thus, Jung-Won decides to disclose all significant facts about the case to the public on television. Woo-Jae’s idea works, and his father finally goes to the police voluntarily.

After that, the finale sees Jung-Won calling Tae-Heon and asking him out on a date. However, the latter feels anxious since he knows something is wrong. His fear comes true when, at the end of their date, Jun-Won tells him that she will leave Seoul the next day. She has decided to part ways with Tae-Heon despite her love for him. She now only wants to focus on raising her child well. Tae-Heon breaks down in tears and embraces Jung-Won. Before they part ways, he tells her that he will wait for her.

Nothing Uncovered finale then sees a time-lapse as three years seem to have passed. Seo Jung-Won now has a healthy and happy infant daughter. She also has her own new show where she catches criminals red-handed and questions them. Jung-Won has returned to Seoul for some reason and learns that Woo-Jae’s father has been found not guilty in the first trial. She then takes her daughter to see her father, Seol Woo-Jae, in the prison. He is ecstatic after seeing his daughter. Moreover, he has been repenting his crime and trying to live a modest life in prison.

At the end of the final episode, Jung-Won gets re-hired by her director for her show Nothing Uncovered. While at the studio, she learns that a police officer has been brutally injured while catching a criminal. Thinking that it could be Kim Tae-Heon, Jung-Won rushes to the hospital. There, the two reunite after three years.

Tae-Heon has a leg injury, but other than that, he is completely fine. He and Jung-Won then go out for a peaceful walk, and it becomes evident that they still harbor romantic feelings for each other. While walking, Tae-Heon asks Jung-Won whether their relationship will work this time. In response, Jung-Won smiles. The final episode of Nothing Uncovered ends right there, providing viewers with a satisfying ending.
