Uncle Samsik Trailer Focuses On Song Kang-Ho & Byun Yo-Han’s Plans For 1960s Turbulence

Disney Plus’ one of the highly anticipated K-dramas, Uncle Samsik, released its trailer. Starring Song Kang-Ho and Byun Yo-Han in the lead, it is a historical business drama. It is written and directed by Shin Yeon-Shick.

The storyline revolves around two men and their life stories. Uncle Samsik (Song Kang-Ho) is a person who only thinks about himself and makes sure he gets his three meals a day, even in a war.

On the other hand, there’s Kim San (Byun Yo-Han), who works at the Korean Military Academy. He is an ideal personality who thinks about other people and works toward the betterment of the people. What happens to these two men and how their bromance develops is all about the drama.

Disney Plus reveals new Uncle Samsik trailer

Disney Plus drops a new trailer on their official Instagram handle. Song Kang-Ho plays Park Do-Chill, aka Uncle Samsik, in the drama. The trailer shows how he tells Kim San (Byun Yo-Han) that he will help him achieve all of his dreams.

He even promises to help him monetarily however possible. Set in the 1960s, when Korean industries were turbulent, the drama shows how these two men team up together to achieve their goal.

The intense scenes in the drama add more curiosity to the viewers’ expectations. Uncle Samsik is quite a colourful character. While he is loved by a lot of people, many others cannot gel with him. What secrets does he hold? Is there more story to it? The audience is excited to see Song Kang-Ho and Byun Yo-Han together in a drama. It is expected that they will portray great chemistry and bromance.

Uncle Samsik is to premiere on Disney Plus on May 15, 2024. The drama will have sixteen episodes; every two will air on Wednesday. The series also features Lee Kyu-Hyung, Jin Ki-Joo, and others in pivotal roles. Stay tuned for more updates.
