In The Midnight Studio episode 10, a ghost named Kim Yoon-Cheol creates havoc for Ki-Joo (Joo Won). He is on the verge of turning into an evil spirit; hence, Ki-Joo decides to help him. A few flashback scenes tell Yoon-Cheol’s story.

He used to do part-time jobs and was prepping for his sister’s wedding. His two friends influenced him to rob a house, but they were killed on that property. Yoon-Cheol was framed as the murderer, who served a long period in prison before coming out on bail. However, the day he left the prison and went home, he died.

Coming back to the present time, ghost Yoon-Cheol learns that his sister is still unmarried. He tries to kill her ex-fiancé and hurt other people. At the right time, Ki-Joo and Baek Nam-Gu arrive to stop him. Yoon-Cheol’s revenge begins to turn him into an evil spirit. While he chokes Ki-Joo, Han Bom arrives on time. In the past, the latter was Yoon-Cheol’s prosecutor, who helped him in every way possible. But his death ruined her career.

After meeting Han Bom, Yoon-Cheol calms down and reveals he has been wandering in the Netherworld. Furthermore, a photographer guided him to the photo studio. This alerts Ki-Joo, and he shows the former ghost photographer’s photos to him. Yeon-Chool points at Ki-Joo’s missing uncle, leaving the lead character in shock. Finally, Ki-Joo discovers that his uncle is not missing but is dead.
