MBC‘s upcoming K-drama, Chief Detective 1958, released new pictures featuring the lead actors, Lee Je-Hoon and Seo Eun-Soo. It also stars Lee Dong-Hwi, Choi Woo-Sung, and Yoon Hyun-Soo. While Dong-Hwi plays Kim Sang-Soon, Choi Woo-Sung will portray Kyung-Hwan Cho, and Yoon Hyun-Soo will appear as Seo Ho-Jeong.
Prequel to the classic K-drama Chief Inspector, this series is set in the 1950s. Chief Inspector ran for 18 years, from 1971 to 1989. In the soon-to-be-released drama, Lee Je-Hoon plays Park Young-Han’s character and will show his initial journey as a detective. The storyline revolves around Young-Han and how he teams up with other detectives to eradicate the thugs from the area.
New Chief Detective 1958 photos tease Lee Je-Hoon & Seo Eun-Soo’s relationship
MBC dropped a few images from Chief Detective 1958 on their social media platforms. They focus on Lee Je-Hoon and Seo Eun-Soo’s first interaction. In the first set of pictures, Park Young-Han looks injured, while Lee Hae-Joo (Eun-Soo) tends to his injury. It gives the viewers an insight into how their relationship might turn out.
In the second set of pictures, Park Young-Han raids Hae-Joo’s bookstore. While Young-Han exudes a worried expression, Hae-Joo’s face looks surprised. Why did he raid her bookstore? What’s the story behind it? Is this the start of something? The photos tease their character backgrounds, leaving the viewers with much more curiosity than before about the drama.
Lee He-Joon has already been in the news thanks to his appearance as Park Young-Han. The teasers of Chief Detective 1958 have shown how charismatic and comedic his character will be. Viewers are already quite excited, and now, as MBC teased his love interest, it piqued their excitement level even more.
