Queen of Tears episode 10: Kim Soo-Hyun confesses his love for Kim Ji-Won

The latest Queen of Tears episode began with Yoon Eun-Seong confronting Hae-In at Yongduri. He blackmailed her to either come back to Queens Group or witness her loved ones suffer. Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo fought off broker Pyeon Seong-Uk and his men to hand them over to the police. At night, Hae-In tended to an injured Hyun-Woo as the latter promised not to get beaten up again.

The following day, Hong Soo-Cheol tried to inform Hyun-Woo of Eun-Seong’s arrival the previous night. However, Hae-In arrived in time to stop her brother. Before heading to the office, Hyun-Woo spent some time with Hae-In. The two discussed situations where they could have managed their relationship better and not ended up in divorce. However, Hyun-Woo stressed that he would still have chosen to marry Hae-In if given another chance.

Meanwhile, Eun-Seong expressed his desire to marry Hae-In to his mother, Mo Seul-Hee. At the office, Hyun-Woo discovered that he would be reassigned and removed from his current position due to malpractice. Eventually, Eun-Seong confronted Hyun-Woo, informing him of the fact that he had met Hae-In. Hyun-Woo retaliated by telling Eun-Seong about broker Pyeon Seong-Uk being in prison.

At the chaebol’s family house, Seul-Hee appointed Secretary Grace to find out where Eun-Seong had admitted former Chairman Hong Man-Dae. Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo’s father, Baek Du-Gwan, adapted to having a new village head, Park Seok-Hun. The latter deliberately decided to wipe all traces of Du-Gwan as the former village head. Meanwhile, a heartbroken Soo-Cheol remembered that he could converse with his wife, Cheon Da-Hye, through their mutual online game.

While Grace was investigating Hong Man-Dae’s whereabouts, Hyun-Woo and his friend Kim Yang-Gi took her aside and blackmailed her into siding with them. To add to Grace’s misery, Hong Beom-Ja also blackmailed her to air all her dirty laundry. After Grace agreed, the new alliance devised a plan to find Man-Dae in selected hospitals. Meanwhile, at Yongduri, Hae-In’s mother, Kim Seon-Hwa, worked at the farm with Hyun-Woo’s mother, Jeon Bong-Ae.

Hae-In’s assistant visited her at the village, telling her about Hyun-Woo’s dismissal due to malpractice. On the other hand, a jealous Hyun-Woo arrived home, frustrated at Eun-Seong and Hae-In’s meeting. Hae-In’s father, Hong Beom-Jun, realized his wife, Seon-Hwa, slept peacefully without consuming any sleeping pills, which was the first time for her in a long time. At night, Hyun-Woo and Hae-In got into an argument over keeping secrets from each other. Hae-In expressed that she will solve her problems by herself from now on.

The following day, Bong-Ae overheard Hae-In speak to her doctor about having headaches. When she confronted Hyun-Woo about the same, he broke down and revealed Hae-In’s diagnosis. Bong-Ae was left heartbroken but followed through with Hyun-Woo’s promise of caring for Hae-In. She prepared a healthy breakfast, giving Hae-In all the proteins.

Meanwhile, Soo-Cheol logged into the game and told Da-Hye to take their son for a timely vaccination. Da-Hye became emotional, recalling their sweet moments together. At the same time, Seon-Hwa saw Hae-In leave for Seoul and accused her daughter of teaming up with Eun-Seong and taking over Queens Group. Bong-Ae arrived in time and offered Hae-In a ride. The latter thanked her former mother-in-law as the two cried.

Hae-In then decided to join Queens Group, retaining her previous title of Queens Group Department Store CEO. The duo decided to announce their collaboration not only professionally but also personally. With Hae-In’s permission, Eun-Seong agreed to announce their marriage. When Hyun-Woo confronted Hae-In, she expressed wanting to decide that by herself.

At the end of the episode, Eun-Seong introduced Hae-In professionally, asking her to make a statement. However, instead of making her initial announcement, she revealed that Eun-Seong threatened her and falsely accused Hyun-Woo of malpractice. She also claimed to have a recording as proof. Moreover, Hae-In announced her diagnosis while stating that she would not return to her position. This made Hyun-Woo emotional.

The episode ended with a flashback to when a drunk Hyun-Woo arrived at Hae-In’s doorstep and confessed his love for her. Hae-In heard his confession from her room.
