Branding in Seongsu Episode 16: Lomon & Kim Ji-Eun swap souls before discovering a secret

The latest Branding in Seongsu episode 16 began with Kang Na-On’s breakdown after a ghost-like figure strangled her. So Eun-Ho, who slept in her house, comforted her. Meanwhile, Cha Jeong-Woo (Kim Ho-Young), who was also present in the house, reached out to Na-On. However, she asked him to leave, letting Eun-Ho stay with her, which left him heartbroken. Eun-Ho recalled having the same experience when he lived in her body.

After their souls swapped to their own bodies, both Na-On and Eun-Ho resumed their lives like before. The former was reappointed as the team leader, while Eun-Ho remained with the underdog team. Na-On took on her old role as the haughty team leader and went to the underground team. They had hoped to get into Na-On’s team, considering they worked with her before. However, Na-On expressed that they’d stay where they are, disappointing them.

While assigning projects, Na-On gave a challenging one to the underground team. They had to rebrand a motel. Meanwhile, she took on a premium project for HQ Motors. Do Yu-Mi (Yang Hye-Ji), who’d replaced Na-On as the team leader, had to join the underground team after her goof-up. While doing his research, Eun-Ho heard suspicious things about the motel from his fellow employees. However, he was determined to make the project a success.

Soon after, Na-On called HQ Motors to set up a meeting. However, they spoke about an already finalized negotiation with Director Han Yi-Jae. Na-On discovered that the director was trying to steal her project. On the other hand, Eun-Ho and the underground team went to the suspicious motel and entered only to experience an eerie atmosphere. Ultimately, they met the owner, an old lady, who refused any rebranding of the motel.

Na-On held a meeting with HQ Motors. She advised them that they should go with her proposal. Meanwhile, Eun-Ho received a message from Han Yi-Jae. When he called the director, both he and Na-On, during her meeting with HQ Motors, heard a ringing sound in their ears. They struggled with it for quite some time before realizing their souls swapped once again.

Na-On, who now lived in Eun-Ho’s body, read a message from director Han Yi-Jae. She realized that both Eun-Ho and the director shared a secret. Meanwhile, Eun-Ho, who now lived inside Na-On, dropped the HQ Motors project. At the end of the episode, the scene shifts to a flashback when Eun-Ho asks Yi-Jae about an incident that occurred five years ago.
