Branding in Seongsu Episode 12: Kim Ji-Eun advances her game plan

The latest Branding in Seongsu episode 12 began with Kang Na-On pitching for a presentation competition among the two teams for the international project. Now that she lived in So Eun-Ho’s body, Na-On used it to her advantage to pretend to side with team leader Do Yu-Mi. She further took it upon herself to point out faults in the existing soju product, determined to rebrand the same and launch it then.

In a bid to further her plan to find her killer, Na-On pitched that the two teams, Team 1 and Underground team, compete in the presentation of the proposal. Chief Hwang Jae-Ha, who headed the project, insulted the underground team, which included So Eun-Ho. Given he lived in Na-On’s body, people believed it to be Na-On herself. While still struggling with his body swap, he and the team decided to undertake a market survey.

Meanwhile, Yu-Mi called Eun-Ho to meet an actor, Nam Yun-Hyeok, in hopes of hiring him to be a model for their project. However, she remained unaware that it was, in fact, Na-On who’d arrived. She revealed that they would relaunch the soju brand as a personal liquor brand for the actor. However, he expresses having a better offer at hand. Evidently, Yun-Hyeok had issues with Na-On.

Na-On blackmailed the actor into giving them 500 million KRW to become a part of the project as she’d known a few secrets about him. She’d previously covered up an incident for him as well. Both she and Yun-Hyeok participated in a drinking duel, with Na-On winning fair and square. She secretly got the drunk actor to sign the papers confirming his presence as the model. However, even she collapsed on Yu-Mi, completely drunk.

On the other hand, Eun-Ho, still living in Na-On’s body decided to do a market survey with the underground team. However, they found out that the company’s soju wasn’t popular at all. Moreover, the inventory was only piling up without people buying the product. As the team decided on what to do, they saw the team’s youngest member, Jenny. However, they saw that she was on a date with an older man.

While Yu-Mi helped Eun-Ho get home, without realizing it was Na-On, Eun-Ho walked alone on the street. He encountered a mysterious figure following her. However, when she followed the man, it turned out to be Cha Jeong-Woo. The latter saw Na-On, unaware that it was indeed Eun-Ho. However, Eun-Ho punched Jeong-Woo and later tended to his injury.

Jeong-Woo confessed his feelings for who he thought was Na-On. Eun-Ho felt awkward, considering it was him instead of her. By the end of the episode, Jeong-Woo leaned in for a kiss, shocking Eun-Ho. Meanwhile, a drunk Na-On, still in Eun-Ho’s body, pulled Yu-Mi closer, reaching for a kiss. With both Eun-Ho and Na-On in awkward situations, it will be interesting to see how their journey plays out.
