Chicken Nugget is a highly awaited upcoming K-drama that is all set to arrive on March 15, 2024, on Netflix. The brand-new series stars popular South Korean actors Ahn Jae-Hong, Ryu Seung-Ryong, and Kim Yoo-Jung, among others. Renowned South Korean screenwriter and director Lee Byeong-heon has acted as the director of the upcoming Netflix K-drama.

Chicken Nugget is a mystery comedy series that is an adaptation of a highly popular Naver webtoon of the same name. The original webtoon is by Park Ji-Dok, aka PJD. Without further ado, let’s hump right in and learn more about the webtoon below.

What’s Chicken Nugget webtoon about?

Chicken Nugget is a highly celebrated Naver webtoon. Park Ji-Dok, popularly known as PJD, has served as the creator of the webtoon. The webtoon depicts a very unique and astounding story of a girl named Min-Ah. As per the webtoon, Min-Ah mysteriously becomes a piece of gangjeong fried chicken. It happens all of a sudden after she uses a highly suspicious machine.

The story of the webtoon unfolds when the father of the girl, Min-Ah, and one of the interns try their best to turn Min-Ah back into her former human self. It is a hilarious and twisted tale revolving around a piece of fried chicken. Thus, from the story of the original webtoon, it is quite clear that viewers are in for an intriguing new K-drama on Netflix.

The official synopsis for the K-drama series Chicken Nugget, given by Netflix, reads as follows, “A woman steps into an odd machine and becomes… a chicken nugget?! Now, it’s up to her father and admirer to embark on a zany quest to bring her back.”

In the series, Kim Yoo-Jung will play the role of Choi Min-Ah, while Ryu Seung-Ryong will portray the role of Choi Min-Ah’s father, Choi Seon-Man. Ahn Jae-Hong will portray the significant character of the intern, Baek-Joong.

Chicken Nugget will arrive on Netflix on March 15, 2024.
