Upcoming K-Drama Wonderful World Trailer Introduces Cha Eun-Woo as a Mysterious Young Man

Disney Plus and MBC recently shared a new Wonderful World trailer featuring Cha Eun-Woo’s mysterious character. The thriller K-drama revolves around past traumas affecting the characters’ present.

The True Beauty actor plays a young man named Kwon Seon-Yul. Born into a rich family, he was enrolled in a medical school. But a series of mishaps take his family away, forcing him to live a tough life. He somehow gets entangled with a psychological professor, Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo), who wants to seek revenge on the culprit who killed her son.

The recently released Wonderful World trailer introduces Seon-Yul as a mysterious young man. Watch the video here:

Wonderful World trailer teases Cha Eun-woo’s interesting role 

Wonderful World trailer begins with Cha Eun-Woo as Seon-Yul in funeral attire standing alone in a room. He looks distressed and sad while narrating, “How do you think I lived?”

The next scene hints at him pouring down alcohol and setting something on fire while looking at it teary-eyed. It further shows Seon-Yul’s transformation into a rough character riding a bike with a fierce expression on his face. He is seen getting involved in physical fights and stating that this is how he lives now.

Seon-Yul claims to continue surviving his tough life while the trailer features him in several action-packed scenes. The Wonderful World clip ends with Seon-Yul saying, “Otherwise I feel like I am going to die.” Cha Eun-Woo’s character adds mystery to the storyline. It is unclear whether he fights with others to solve his family’s death mystery or he chooses to live a rough life.

His fate will lead him to Kim Nam-Joo’s Eun Soo-Hyun, who lost his son in a fire incident. When the culprit roams free, she decides to seek revenge.

Wonderful World K-drama release date and time revealed

K-drama Wonderful World will premiere on March 1, 2024, at 9.50 p.m. on MBC. It will also stream on Disney Plus.

Directed by Lee Seung-Young, the series will air twice a week on Fridays and Saturdays.
