Netflix shared the Gyeongseong Creature Episode 8 trailer a day before its premiere. Starring Park Seo-Joon as Jang Tae-Sang and Han So-Hee as Yoon Chae-Ok, the K-drama released Part 1, consisting of seven episodes, on December 22, 2023.
Episode 7 ended with Tae-Sang staying back at the Ongseong Hospital after helping Chae-Ok and others escape. It ends on a cliffhanger with Lt. Kate wondering who drank the virus-spiked drink while viewers see something crawl inside Myeong-Ja’s brain.
The trailer of Gyeongseong Creature Episode 8 shows that Myeong-Ja turns into the new monster terrorizing Gyeongseong. Meanwhile, the creature locked inside the hospital has a visitor.

Gyeongseong Creature Part-2 Episode 8 trailer teases Claudia Kim’s connection to both monsters
Gyeongseong Creature Part-2 Episode 8 trailer focuses on Lady Maeda’s (Claudia Kim) real identity. Part 1 introduced her as the wife of Commissioner Ishikawa. In the upcoming episodes, she will be seen as another villain.
The trailer shows pregnant Myeong-Ja recalling how Lady Maeda trapped her in the Ongseong Hospital. However, she is out of prison but has become a new monster. She attacks a man in a gruesome manner.
The Gyeongseong Creature episode 8 video further shows Director Ichiro bringing Lady Maeda to the hospital’s basement, where the original monster is locked up. Earlier, viewers learned that the creature is Chae-Ok’s mother, Seishin. In the trailer, Lady Maeda approaches the creature fearlessly and calls out her name. She further says, “So you were still alive. Teacher Seishin,” adding curiosity to their storyline. The creature tries to attack her but fails.
Gyeongseong Creature Episodes 8-10 release date and time
Netflix will release the remaining three episodes on Friday. Gyeongseong Creature Episodes 8-10 will premiere on January 5, 2024, at 5.00 p.m. KST/3:00 a.m. ET on the streamer.
Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee play the lead roles in the thriller fantasy drama.
