A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 Recap: Did Cha Eun-Woo Tell Park Gyu-Young About Her Memory?

Starring Cha Eun-Woo as Jin Seo-Won and Park Gyu-Young as Han Hae-Na, A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 aired on MBC on Wednesday. The storyline of the K-drama is nearing its climax.

In episode 11 ending, Lee Bo-Gyeom (Lee Hyun-Woo) cursed Hae-Na and erased her memories of Seo-Won. The latest episode features Seo-Won confronting Bo-Gyeom for taking away the memory of only Hae-Na and not him. Bo-Gyeom tells Seo-Won that this is his way of seeking revenge. He wants Seo-Won to feel the pain of losing a lover. Cha Eun-Woo’s character tries to keep an eye on Hae-Na throughout episode 12 and wishes to reveal the truth to her. But he refrains from directly telling Hae-Na anything related to her memory.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 begins with Cha Eun-Woo’s Seo-Won realizing that Bo-Gyeom erased only Hae-Na’s memories. After confronting Bo-Gyeom regarding the same, Seo-Won learns about his plan.

Lee Hyun-Woo’s character, Bo-Gyeom, tries to date Hae-Na, which irks Seo-Won. Although he wants to reveal the truth to her, he says nothing. Things get more difficult for him when he punches Bo-Gyeom in rage. Hae-Na pushes Seo-Won and protects Bo-Gyeom, leaving Eun-Woo’s character hurt.

After suffering alone multiple times, Seo-Won finally confesses his feelings to Hae-Na. But she responds by saying that she likes someone else. However, her heart seems to tell her something else. She gets more confused about her feelings after seeing the same date marked as the “Seo-Hae” couple in her and Seo-Won’s calendar. When she confronts him, he asks her to go on a trip with him.

Park Gyu-Young’s Hae-Na realizes that her mind and heart are speaking different languages. While she thinks she likes Bo-Gyeom, her heart seems to flutter for Seo-Won. Meanwhile, Min Ji-A finds out that Bo-Gyeom also erased Yul’s memory of Seo-Won and Hae-Na’s relationship. To understand his revenge, she tries to dig her past life deeper. For context, Bo-Gyeom thinks Seo-Won and Hae-Na killed Ji-A in their past lives.

Hae-Na’s family, on the other hand, faces a strange incident. Hae-Na’s uncle, who was stuck in dog form for a long time, turned human and then again into a dog in previous episodes. A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 shows he transforms back into a human again.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 ending: Cha Eun-Woo kisses Park Gyu-Young

Towards A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 ending, Ji-A tells Yul that his uncle Seo-Won must be feeling lonely. She tries to make him remember that Seo-Won and Hae-Na were a couple, but the latter has lost her memory of Seo-Won.

To help his uncle, Yul tricks Hae-Na into visiting his apartment. When she reaches, she finds Seo-Won in the kitchen. After clearing the air, Seo-Won invites her for ramen. She tells him that she is confused nowadays about her feelings. She claims that she feels she has come to his apartment earlier. 

Seeing her confused expression, Seo-Won asks, “Should I tell you?” A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 12 ends with him leaning towards Park Gyu-Young’s character for a kiss. Initially, she doesn’t stop him, but soon, she pushes him away and leaves the apartment.

A Good Day To Be a Dog airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. KST on MBC. It later streams on Viki with subtitles.
