A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 Recap: Did Cha Eun-Woo Kill Lee Hyun-Woo’s Lover?

Starring Cha Eun-Woo and Park Gyu-Young, A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 premiered on Wednesday on MBC. After exploring the lead characters’ past lives, the K-drama’s storyline adds curiosity.

In episode 9 ending, Lee Bo-Gyeom (Lee Hyun-Woo) draws a sword against Cha Eun-Woo’s Jin Seo-Won. After withdrawing his sword, he asks Seo-Won to leave in episode 10. The next day, Seo-Won asks Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young) if she notices something odd in Bo-Gyeom’s behavior.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 explores why mountain god Bo-Gyeom cursed Hae-Na’s family. It hints at Seo-Won killing Bo-Gyeom’s lover Cho-Young (Kim Yi-Kyeong).

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 spoilers: Why do Bo-Gyeom think Seo-Won & Hae-Na are the killers?

At the beginning of A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10, Seo-Won (Cha Eun-Woo) and Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young) spend quality time. She falls sick, and Seo-Won takes care of her. With the close-up shots of her bracelet, it appears she fell ill because of the talisman.

The episode takes viewers to the lead characters’ past lives, where Seo-Won was Inspector Soo-Hyun, and Hae-Na was Maid Mak-Soon. They are secretly in a relationship. Things go sideways when an order to kill Mak-Soon’s pregnant owner, Cho-Young, is announced. The trio runs to the mountains.

Soo-Hyun gets caught, and Mak-Soon searches for Cho-Young, whom mountain god Bo-Gyeom saves. Cho-Young loses her baby and is devastated. Bo-Gyeom manages to stop her from ending her life. The two begin to get closer.

Meanwhile, Mak-Soon continues to visit the village, which makes Bo-Gyeom doubt her intentions. In her absence, Bo-Gyeom keeps Cho-Young company. They share their first kiss and make plans to go to a beach. When they are about to leave, a group of official guards arrive to kill Cho-Young. Bo-Gyeom uses his powers to save her, but things go sideways.

While looking for her, Lee Hyun-Woo’s character sees Cho-Young on the edge of a cliff. Mak-Soon stands beside her in fear while Soo-Hyun has drawn a blood-covered sword against Cho-Young. At this moment, a guard stabs Bo-Gyeom, which distracts him. Within minutes, he turns back and watches Cho-Young falling down the cliff with Soo-Hyun’s sword stabbed into her stomach.

It is unclear why Soo-Hyun stabbed Cho-Young or if there’s more to the story. Whatever the truth is, Bo-Gyeom thinks Soo-Hyun and Mak-Soon killed his lover.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 ending: Lee Bo-Gyeom kills Hae-Na’s uncle

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 10 explored the past lives of four main characters. Viewers understood why Bo-Gyeom wanted to hurt Han Hae-Na and Jin Seo-Won. They are the reincarnations of Cho-Young’s killers.

In the present time, Bo-Gyeom played all his cards from the beginning to seek revenge. He wanted Hae-Na and Seo-Won to fall in love so that he could separate them in the end. He wishes to make the couple feel the pain he went through in the past.

Episode 10 ending is chilling. It shows Bo-Gyeom killing Hae-Na’s uncle, stuck in his dog form. Meanwhile, Cho-Young’s reincarnation, Min Ji-A, is getting flashbacks of her past life. Before she remembers the truth about her death, Bo-Gyeom may cause more harm to Hae-Na and Seo-Won.

In the next episode, Lee Hyun-Woo’s character will tell Hae-Na that he put the dog curse on her family in the past. Meanwhile, viewers can watch episode 10 on Viki.
